University Health Center

The University Health Center monitors Nebraska Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control public information and oversight on numerous public health detection on outbreaks relating to foodborne diseases involving pathogens like botulism, Escherichia coli O157:H7, salmonella, shigella, and listeria. Occasionally an outbreak of illness or disease caused by agents, viruses or bacteria like mumps, meningitis, or influenza may occur.

Students are reminded to be alert for health updates and information in their residence halls, from their health aide or residence assistant, and to contact the Health Center for information.
